Five
Five is an English boy band from London composed of members Sean Conlon, Rich Neville and Scott Robinson. They were formed in 1997 by the same team that managed the Spice Girls before starting their careers. The group is known for being a five-member group consisting mostly of Robinson, Neville, Conlon, Abz Love, and Jason "J" Brown. Five had moderate success worldwide, especially in their native Britain and most of the rest of Europe and Asia. According to the British Recording Industry (BPI), Five has been certified for 10,000 albums and 60,000 singles in the UK. The group has sold about 80 million copies worldwide. They separated on 27th 2001-01. Robinson, Love, Neville and Brown briefly reorganized the group in 2006 with a new management team led by music manager Richard Beck without <> Wall Conlon (who left before the split of <>). Having secured a profitable tour but not enough record company attention, Five announced on its official website that it would disband again. In 2012, the group announced that it was planning another reunion, this time with conlon. Lead singer Brown initially agreed to join the reunion, but later changed his mind, claiming he no longer wanted to be in the public eye. The group continued with 911 members, but decided to retain the name Five. Five, along with Blue, 2, Atomic Kitten, B*Witch, Honey's, and Liberty X, appeared in the ITV26 documentary series Big Reunion, which began airing on March 3, 2013. It was followed by a comeback performance at hammersmith apollo on may 2014, followed by arena tours across England and Ireland, the first tour without brown. Five made headlines for his first solo tour, the <>ive Greatest Hits Tour.
