Gareth Gates
Gareth Gates, or Gareth Gates, is a British singer-songwriter. Born in Bradford, England in 1984 to his father Paul and mother Wendy, he grew up with three younger sisters and one cousin, and made his debut in 2002. Although he had a language disorder, he proudly showed his natural talent in music [1] and impressed many people at school arts festivals during his school days. Garrett, who has since learned to play instruments such as piano and classical guitar, also worked in the boys' choir at Bradford Cathedral at the age of 9.[2] I got a chance to debut through Pop Idol. Although he did not win the championship, he was recognized by Simon Cowell as Flying Without Wings by Westlife, a very famous Irish boy band at the time, and entered BMG music history.After growing rapidly, Gates debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart with "Unchained Melody". Anyone of Us (Stupid Mistake), which followed, and Suspicious Minds and The Long and Winding Road all topped the list. His fourth single, What My Heart Want To Say, reached number two on the UK Albums Chart with over 100,000 copies sold in its first week. The second album, Go Your Own Way, released in October 2003, was relatively unpopular compared to its debut album, but the single "Sunshine" reached number three. The single, "Say It Isn't So," came in fourth place at the end of the same year. The initial reaction was hot, and British pop magazine Smash Heights designated 7 October 2002 as the International Gareth Gates Day. By 2004, there were more than 3 million singles sold.
